Fungus grown food at departmental store in Norway

I was shopping food and other items in a Rema1000, chain of grocery shop in Norway, I was surprised to see an item on rack with fungus grow. It was their with other items and how can the store not see such item and not remove where people are very much sensitive on food or other issues. I remember the issue of Nepal when 'Real' juice had such production mistake, all medias voiced for it and later even Indian ambassador to Nepal has to 'press down' the press by providing more advertisement  to their media or through taking role artists on advertisement and so on. In Nepal or India, we try to hide the issue but in developed countries, they try to explore the mistake and try not to repeat again. I hope the problem of this fungus grow is with broken packet box, not with production system. The mistake might be due to store boy/girl  who didn't see it while putting on rack. Advice to all whether you are in very good store or in street shop, check the item carefully. Special care should be given to check packet condition and its seal and expiry date.

Yumyum

Fruits are best for health and taste and fruit salad is even better for appetite. If it is of tropical fruits, can you tolerate not eating it?

Street vendors in Nepal

Open and flee market are traditional way of good exchange and shopping. These trends are decreasing everywhere however increasing in Nepal. Either of clothes, vegetables, fruits, meats, food stalls or household utensils are available in the street market. Traffic jam and inconvenience to pedestrian was one of the major issues due to such markets. Because of the same, the government tried to stop these street vendors but vendors organizational unity and their protest pressurized government to provide them alternative or space in the street itself. What a shame? A group of people are occupying public place (street) for their business (profit motive) and government is helpless. Here are some of the pictures showing how street vendors do their business.

Nepali momo in Norway

This week we could steam momo. Buff momo is the best momo for Nepalese taste but we could only steam lamb, chicken, and pork momo due to food restrictions of each friend. Momo making is a time consuming job but tasty momo at the end really makes you happy. Enjoy!

Traditional milk pots

Alumnium milk pots are still in use in many countries to carry milk to the collection centres. However, I have seen those pots as flower pots in Bergen, Norway. They are not in use due to technical change and direct storage of milk in cooling storage system. However the research labs in developed and developed countries still use the glass utensils for their culture. One US$ for a comb of maize and three colours (green, yellow and red) paprika are the other pictures.

Salmon for dinner

Today, I was invited for dinner. Fish is the main item of the dinner. Red salmon is popular in Norway. The fish was grilled in special way with lots of species. the head and tail was used for fish soup. The main body part was oven cooked. Wow! the delicious fish soup and fish flesh was served with brown bread. You can also serve it with chilled beer. Here are the pictured while preparing the fish for cooking.
